Week 5 and 6


What I accomplished

I edited the 5 Susan Squires covers based on my feedback. I also created the first draft of the first two of  Kat Martin's 5 books.

Problems I ran into.

I can't decide if I should change the color palette of the third Squires book cover.

Questions for feedback

Is the font working to add more passion and romance into the designs?

Are the designs looking more cohesive as  a set?

Any other feedback about the overall design.

Next steps

Week 8

What I did this week  finalize the illustrations for the first five books in the series and pick the type layout and color palette for the second five. I  decided that all will stay the same except for the color palette between the two series in order to make them unified. next steps -I will finish all designs and edits from critique -I will print out all designs to see how tey fit around books -I will look into final printing process and where i want to get them printed/ pick the books to put them on.

Week 7

I changed my idea to create a more illustrative feel to bring more passion and personality and used a more organic style. I think this style is work much better to accomplish  my goal of romance novels that won't be stigmatize by the cover. Next steps -I will finish designing all 10 covers in this new style -I will print the covers out to figure out all the little edits new designs
